Corporate Knights uses a variety of different information sources to conduct the Global 100. The starting universe for the project is determined using Bloomberg.[1] Data for the first, second and third screens are also found on Bloomberg. The fourth screen is employed using information and data collected from Bloomberg, Factiva and Lexis Nexis. Performance data on each of the 12 KPIs used as selection criteria are found in corporate financial statements, sustainability reports, Bloomberg and other third-party sources, including the Carbon Disclosure Project.
