Notable new entrants
AI Voice Detector entered the Voice Detection category at rank 9 overall, the highest debut in that category to date. ElevenLabs Detect (rank 22) and Attestiv (rank 21) also entered with scores above 88. The Academic Integrity category saw the least movement, with Turnitin and Copyleaks continuing to dominate through deep LMS integration and established institutional relationships.
Transparency emerges as a competitive differentiator
Transparency scores showed the widest variance across the index, ranging from 83.7 to 97.1. Platforms with published research papers and open-source detection components consistently outscored proprietary-only solutions, reinforcing the index's emphasis on methodological openness as a core integrity metric. For buyers turning these scores into a shortlist, the AI detector rankings for schools and publishers map each top-10 platform to a use case.
